Our Story

Minutemen Builders is a disabled veteran and family-owned business
established in November of 2022. Andre Queiroga, the founder of Minutemen Builders, is a University of Massachusetts (UMASS) alumni, class of 2011, with a degree in Building Construction Technology and Natural Resource Conservation. Andre brings over 20 years of experience working in different areas of construction.

Growing up, Andre’s father worked as a Naval carpenter, in Portugal, and immigrated to the United States. He soon started building conventional New England American homes with the skills he had acquired throughout the years. Seeing the quality and craftsmanship that his dad had put into every job that he had done was inspiring. Andre started learning the trade of being a carpenter since the age of 8 and quickly developed a passion for building homes.

Andre joined the Marine Corps at the age of 18 and served two tours in Iraq. After 4 years of active duty and an honorable discharge, Andre attended University. While going to school full time, he worked in many different construction fields. Shortly after graduating, Andre and his wife bought their first home, a fixer upper. Today they reside in their fully remodeled home with their three children.

Minutemen Builders values hard work, honesty, respect, efficiency, and craftsmanship. As a general contractor, this veteran-owned business aims to provide high-quality work, with energy-efficient products, and to employ veterans like Andre.
